Audio and Video

PA System

A public address system (PA system) is an electronic system comprising microphones, amplifiers, loudspeakers, and related equipment. It increases the apparent volume (loudness) of a human voice, musical instrument, or other acoustic sound source or recorded sound or music. PA systems are used in any public venue that requires an announcer, performer, etc. be sufficiently audible at a distance or over a large area. Typical applications include sports stadiums, public transportation vehicles and facilities, and live or recorded music venues and events. A PA system may include multiple microphones or other sound sources, a mixing console to combine and modify multiple sources, and multiple amplifiers and loudspeakers for louder volume or wider distribution.

IP Paging is something new and emerging that allows the use of Data Network Infrastructure were IP Speakers can be added (connected) anywhere in the network and configured to be member of one or more zones dynamically and gives Varity of options to page from almost anywhere in the network (or) from internet.

Video Wall

A video wall is a special multi-monitor setup that consists of multiple computer monitors, video projectors, or television sets tiled together contiguously or overlapped in order to form one large screen. Typical display technologies include LCD panels, Direct View LED arrays, blended projection screens, Laser Phosphor Displays, and rear projection cubes.,

Screens specifically designed for use in video walls usually have narrow bezels in order to minimize the gap between active display areas and are built with long-term serviceability in mind. Such screens often contain the hardware necessary to stack similar screens together, along with connections to daisy chain power, video, and command signals between screens. A command signal may, for example, power all screens in the video wall on or off, or calibrate the brightness of a single screen after bulb replacement (in Projection-based screens)

Projectors & Screens

Projector has become an inseparable part of offices, schools and universities. One cannot imagine a presentation without the use of projector. Almost all presentation rooms have projectors installed.

In simple language, a projector basically adopts the operational principal of image projection whereby the projector accepts a video/image input, processes it with the assistance of its inbuilt optical projection system consisting of a lens & optical source and projects the enhanced output on to the Projection screen.

Digital Signage

Digital signage is a sub-segment of electronic signage. Digital displays use technologies such as LCD, LED, projection and e-paper to display digital images, video, web pages, weather data, restaurant menus, or text. They can be found in public spaces, transportation systems, museums, stadiums, retail stores, hotels, restaurants and corporate buildings etc., to provide wayfinding, exhibitions, marketing and outdoor advertising. They are used as a network of electronic displays that are centrally managed and individually addressable for the display of text, animated or video messages for advertising, information, entertainment and merchandising to targeted audiences.

Audio & Video Conferencing

The type of telephone used can vary but typically an audio conference includes attendees that use handheld wired telephones (such as those at a person’s business office or home), conference room speakerphones that can be shared by several people, or individual cellular or mobile telephones.

Audio conferencing is sometimes called “teleconferencing” or a “telecon” and traditionally this means using a telephone instrument to conduct a business or government meeting.
